Radiators!!!!
Just trying to get a general idea at what I'm lookin at in the future. Has anyone replaced there broken radiator with a performance radiator, and not had any problems after that?
Or even replaced it with oem radiator? Hearing to many stories about constant radiator repairs. Any help is appreciated. Sent from my Desire HD using AutoGuide.Com Free |

I have also head issues with replacing the factory radiator with another factory one again and again, so I would say your best bet is to go with the performance one.

My radiator on my 08 started leaking around the drivers side bottom corner at 30,000 miles. I fortunetly have a tuner friendly dealer, so I didnt have to replace DPF and whatnot to stock. Ever since Ford put in new OEM radiator, all is fine as of today... I got a Recall in the mail from Ford around 15,000 miles and never went in to have it done til mine started leaking. I assume Ford thru out all the "bad" ones and replaced under warrenty new model radiators.
If your starts leaking, Id go ahead and let Ford replace it and see how it goes. In the end, you can go aftermarket if something else goes wrong... |
