How Many miles on your 6.4 ? and what MODS?

I was just wondering if there is anyone out there with over 200K on their truck? and what mods they are running? I have 213K on mine(stock). just bought it and I am concerned about the miles...and the mods I want to do(DPF/Cat Delete,mini max,intake ect). I am concerned about the trans. re learn...(I have it all in shopping cart wanting to hit BUY) feel that after all those stock miles....If I unleash it.... its going to break....Please tell me your truck story.........also anyone running Amsoil ? Thank You in advance

Well, I'm on the low end:
60K on truck, 10K with mods in sig.

From what I've read the tranny is good for 700 hp, with those mods u will be close to 600 hp.

I have 150k on mine bought it with 130k on it and just a few weeks ago put on my spartan tuner, afe cai, and flo pro delete pipe. It loves the free flow of air and I think it is very happy I put the stuff on, I don't think it can ever be to late to better the motor. Just do it cause as long as you are not beating on the truck if something is going to break it would break stock to.

550-600 HP seems to be the limit of a well taken care of stock transmission. Very few have lasted long above 600 HP. I would say 500-550 is a safe range, but issues can still occur if the person driving the truck is abusive or doesn't take care of transmission maintenance.

My business partner has 238000 miles on his 08 and has been running a KEM tune by Charles since 100000. He literally drives the chit out of this truck and routinely pulls 15,000 + lbs. I have been amazed at the power and reliability of this truck. The only problem is that he is on his 5th radiator. Other than that she has been a solid truck.

The good thing about the radiator issue is that the aftermarket is coming out with some solutions that should fix the problem.
