1280 isn't bad. 1400-1600 seem to be okay as well as long as you don't hold it there very long. Above 1600 needs to be in short bursts. You don't want to hold it there very long.
Question: Are you running a DPF delete tune with the DPF still on the truck? If so, I don't recommend doing that.
