Turbo set up

I have an 08 6.4 and currently have the mods in my sig. this summer i am building my trans (suncoast rebuild kit, suncoast tc or the rcd one, and billit input shaft) and after that i plan on doing the industrial injection 85% over hpfp.

So i think i have the fuel side of things covered just wondering what you guys suggest for the turbo side of things. i work at GOS performance in montana and we dont have that much experience with 6.4's on the performance side of things.

I plan on making 700 hp fuel only with egts under controll. so what do you guys suggest for turbos? ive been thinking about the industrial compounds but dont know if they are quite enough.

Thanks in advance!!!

just subscribing. I read a thread recently about twisted diesel in VA building great transmissions. One cat said he wished he would have gotten a twisted trans before his suncoast. but just subbing to learn about turbo set ups on 6.4. Good luck.

I wouldn't limit myself to Industrial's modded stock turbos. I like Elite's turbo setups because they uses Precision Turbo wheels and turbos. I just installed their 71mm low pressure turbo. It's a modded stock low pressure that uses a 71mm billet Precision wheel. It's awesome. Elite's High Power turbos seem to be the perfect setup. 670 HP on stock fuel and 800 HP potential with added fuel. Great drivability and instant spool up.

What about running a single kit but making it a twin kit? I know the thread that WOP did on here mentioned that they where going to be making there kit so it could be set up as twin system?

I myself will only be upgrading my low pressure turbo when the time comes around.

I have thought about building my own set up. maybe a 62/80 and a s474 but i think i would rather not have my truck down for that long. and i would want to buy a set up that is known to work well on a 6.4

You might to reconsider the industrial injection 85% over hpfp. From what I understand, they are hit and miss but prone to expensive failures.

Jeff, do you agree?
