Head Studs

So i was just reading a thread on the 6.0 forum because im doin my buddies soon for him. I really want to do my own truck with H11's soon too and i just planned in cab off but they are doin 6.0s in the truck without lifting the cab! Has anyone had any luck or tried doin this with a 6.4? I am thinking of doin them one at a time bc i dont have any issues and low miles on my truck. Just was a thought and i was curious if anyone has done this and also about doin one at a time and not removing the heads

Heard it can take anywhere from 8 hours to 12+ hours on the 6.4. I would pull the cab and do it right. There are no H-11 head studs on the market at the moment. You'll have to wait a few weeks for Elite to release them.

Do you think the arp's are good enough or wait for the H11's? What about using the stock gasket with the studs? I know it works on the 6.0's but i actually was told not to use H11's on a 6.0 with stock gasket bc it actually tightens them too much

I would wait. That's what I'm doing.

You will be fine with ARP's. There are MANY BIG hp trucks running ARP's with no problems. H11's are nice, but the price difference isnt worth it in my eyes. Im just going to do the ARP's. I have heard they can be done cab on, but is a PITA. I would do it cab off.
