egr blocker plates
I run the mini maxx. If I get the blocker plates for the egr is that a good enough set up?

Delete the coolers and be done with it.

What's the best way to go about that. I know absolutely nothing about the egr system. Do the blocker plates block the coolers?

Blocking them off from the exhuast is ok but you still have coolant flowing through... Your better off just buying a full delete kit and bien done. I used the Flo Pro kit and its simple and a great product

im thinking about the blocker plates too. and i cant exactly delete the egr cooler due to emission checks. is there anything i have to worry about if i just install the plates i.e. back pressure?

Ok cool thanks. What's the cost on that set up?

i know there was a topic about it awhile back. what i want to do is use the blocker plates to block off the gasses but so i can still pass a visual inspection. then i want to take some hose and reroute the coolant so that it doesnt go through the coolers but instead connect the hoses so that the coolant doesnt go through the egr coolers at all. this will also make it 10 times easier to return to stock if needed for some reason and seems like it would take less time to do

Plates are OK, but full delete is better. It will cost you another $100 or so do delete the coolers as well assuming you can do the work yourself. Im doing mine as soon as I can get home. Everyone says to delete the egr and coolers is about a 5 hr job.
