Back to Stock

Okay well I just hit 15,000 miles on the 08, thank goodness I still have 5 months of warranty left. Went today to throw some fuel in her, and noticed a couple drops of oil in driveway. Never a good thing. Coming down the bell housing, so I am assuming a bed plate possibly. Good thing I don't drive it that much in winter.

Anyway I am taking her in on Friday so my DPF/DOC has to come off, as does the H&S mini as I am not familiar with the dealer at all. We just moved to KC in August and left a mod friendly dealer up North.

Just so I have this correct:

1: Reinstall the stock DOC/Dpf
2: With the Mini "return to stock"
3: Unplug Mini

Do I have to take off the S&B air intake? Or am I good leaving it on?

I put all these on myself last year about this time so I am not worried about doing it, just want to make sure I have all the ammo for the gun as a bed plate is serious work and I am not paying.

PS. Noticed the bell housing was a little wet when I installed all this last year, but it was no where near dripping.

thanks in advance.

I would put it ALL back to stock...
Never know what kind of person you will run into at the Dealership!
A filter is not worth having the claim rejected.

Might not be the bed plate.

Turbo drain?
HP fuel pump cover?
Rear engine cover?

I was somewhat in the same boat except I notced my oil leak while my s&b, mini maxx and dpf had just arrived and were sitting in my living room waiting to be installed. My leak ended up being at the bed plate and main seal, the cab had to come off. Was at the dealership for two weeks! Take all of your mods off! Good luck!

I would personally anonymously call the dealership and ask the service manager some questions about the warranty and aftermarket parts haha. You never know. They could be a mod friendly dealer. Use a pay phone if needed. haha jk
