spartan help

i am trying to set my spartan up but keep getting the vin ref failed 02. i have formatted my sd card to my truck. set up a tranfer folder,added the three downloads to it then added to my sd and put it in the dashdaq then went to set up the three folders from the sd to dashdaq but the vin one keeps failing. i added the other two succesfully but when i go to uninstall they are not there. and it shows no tunes. i am no computer guy but it seemed to go ok? i have no idea

sorry it is vin reset failed. i have garage time booked in 5 hours!! what am i doing wrong?

Cant help u bud, but this does help me decide on which tuner i will be getting. I know the spartan is said to be a great tuner, but just seems to complicated.

I just went through that last week when i went to load the tunes in the truck there was none to choose from and it turned out my dash daq wasnt updated with v2 software to make it stragey flash capible... Mark @ Spartan walked me right through on the phone the prob is its the weekend

Its really not hard to do/use....

I also see far more threads on here people with issues on the other tuner...

still no luck, but i'm sure it's me, well i never thought i'd say it but i can't wait for monday!! well at least i tried it before doing the exhaust. thanx for the support anyways, i get no sympathy voiding my warranty from the wife.
