6.4 EGR Delete Wastegate?

I'm looking at doing an egr delete on my 6.4 but I'm not sure which one I need. Do I need to get an egr delete with a wastegate or would RCDs kit work just as well? Mods are in my sig and I'm running the KEM 345. Also would I see any benefits from installing an Airdog?

No need for the wastegate unless you plan on spraying nitrous. RCD has a new kit available for $499 that comes with their EGR cooler delete, a CAC pipe, and intake elbow. It's pretty nice. Cheap but effective.

Yeah that's the one I was talking about. Any input on an Airdog?

Let me ask this while the subject is up, I'm puking out of the bottle and am guessing the Head gaskets are shot and I plan on going ahead and studding it and doing a new oil cooler while their in there. Do I need to do anything else. Running H&S Mini Maxx

I plan on doing mine over Christmas break but I can't find anyone's opinions/results with their egr deletes.

Im running Wide open Performance egr delete with wastegate. Its a nice set up. I got on my truck because i was running the XRT pro with with no EGR delete and ended up cracking a piston, long story short i have a new engine. They said that my intake manifold had more soot build up than a duramax that had 300,000 miles on it, when mine only had 72,000mi and had only had the tuner on there for about 20,000mi. I knew i shouldhave just forked over the money and got the EGR delete. As far as wastegate i figured **** they are already in there might as well.

My wife's '10 has the wastegate on it. Only difference we can tell is there is better throttle response and low end power. the gate isn't really needed unless you do something like MPD is with their trucks. She wanted it for the future.

Oh yeah, I have you to thank for this rats nest of an engine bay in my driveway. That day I got the bar from you, she fell in love with your truck.

As for the airdog, are you wanting bigger fueling options? If so, get the ADII 165 and be done. If not, don't waste your money.
