ive had my spartan for a lil longer than a week and sometimes when i shut the truck off and then restart later the gauges on the tuner dont work...after shutting tuner down and restarting it they will work...is there a glitch in my tuner or just normal...also im running the 275 tune now instead of the 250 and understand it turns the egr off as well...is this safe since i still have my egr hooked up and will for a few more weeks till i can get 500 for a delete kit...Thanks for any help...
My DD does the same thing. Just tap the power button once when you turn your truck off and it goes into sleep mode then tap it again when you want it on. As for running the 275 tune, I don't have an egr delete either so I just run a tune that cycles the egr valve for a couple days when I remember to then switch back to the 275.
You can go into the settings on the DD and change your settings so that the DD shuts down after so many seconds when you turn your truck off. Then when you start the truck again just it the little button and it will turn everything back on. If you do this you wont have your issues anymore.
When you shut the truck off, you should also shut the DashDAQ off. If not, it can freeze and you will have to unplug it from the OBDII port and reboot it. You can also set the DashDAQ to auto power off.
Auto Power Off Process:
1. EXIT the gauge screen
2. Click SETUP
3. Click POWER
4. You will have 6 options for Auto Power Off to choose from
Hope this helps!
