I demodded my truck today and flashed the stock tune from the mini maxx. Now I get P0404 and P1335. Truck has no power at all. Is this more of a tuning thing or an actual mechanical failure? Any experiences?
Im assuming you have an egr delete on there? I had a 7.3 that had gotten some bad fuel-with my tuner it was drivable, I took it off, wouldn't even move. Sometimes the tunes can mask other issues.
you should be fine after driving it for awhile stock. You went back to stock right with you dpf?
I had my spartan on for 5k befor they fixed they fixed the egr cycle with the new update. And now it works fine but it took a few days to open up and work.
Yes I put the dpf back on, removed the intake and tuned it back to stock. I have it running on the dpf on tune right now just because it honestly had no get up and go. Had a tough time getting it to 65mph lol. I'll retune the stock file on there and drive it around and ill report to you guys.
Quick Update. I ran with the DPF On tune for about 200 miles. Got home from the trip and retuned the truck back to stock. Low and behold...everything is working fine now. First thing that popped up was Cleaning Exhaust Filter lol how i dreaded that thing. Threw no codes. Truck is being traded in anyway.
The wife and I are expecting our first child in September so we really needed something more family oriented. So we opted for a fully loaded 2011 AWD Edge Sport. :icon_ford: Got a good deal on it and came out on top on the trade so couldn't have asked for more. I will miss this truck though
i have 3 kids and a fourth on the way. The CCSB is plenty of room for kids. I think the truck is family oriented. We use my truck for everything. Just my opinion tho
BlueDemon09 what are you doing with the tuner, intake and exhaust?
