Currently running the 4" flo pro straight pipe with dual exit.
Sct Extreme tune.
If i want to step up my game what should i do? Mind you i dont want parts to break so id like to be pro active if there are things that should be done before hand to keep the truck in one piece.
Innovatives new extreme tunes and get a suncoast tranny rebuild kit.
I was running high 12s with my old truck on the older Innovative tunes but it was also an extended cab. But ive heard the new tunes from eric are much better. And the shifting is supposed to be great. The first thing to go on my old truck was the tranny....but i drove every mile i put on it like i stole it!
Like he said get a built tranny and some good tunes and you will be right there. You could always upgrade the turbos, injectors, and all sorts of things but that just gets costly
You can do turbos and injectors and other stuff but you need to do it right and upgrade your motor and trans accordingly or your just gonna break stuff.
My ultimate daily driver would be a 6.4 short cab long box with a kem tuned mini maxx, egr delete with wastegate, studded, air dog 2, s&b intake, spearco intercooler and piping, full turbo back exhaust, and a suncoast built tranny and torque converter..... it would be a fast and reliable truck.
Im in the process of deleting everything on my new truck but i dont want to do to much power without beefing everything else up! the stock drivetrain on these trucks can only take so much. I had the stock tranny on my 08 replace twice do to failure from too much power to it!
Well, I knew the 6.4's were ballsy. Didnt know they were THAT ballsy.
