SCT 9625OR: Wil the tunes work on an 08' and 2010 6.4L

Purchased an SCT 9625OR for a 6.4L '08 F250 4x4. Now want to use on 2010 6.4L. F350 4x4. They have different strategies. Will the canned tunes from SCT work on the 2010? (tow,performance,xtreme)

Yeah it will work. you may need to go to sct website and update the firmware and tune revision to the latest ones. they have instructions on the site to help do this. i have one and it was on an 08 and now a 10 and it works great.

So witch FW is in it to make it work. I have the same thing, took tuner off my 08 and want it on my 10. Fireware on tuner is 6.4.060 and tune is 6.4.1.3.4.

Those r the same ones i have on my tuner now and it works on my 10. those will b fine unless u have that latest flash from ford that everyone is talking about and if u do they have a newer tune revision out for it now i believe. i have not had that flash done yet.

I think someone asked that same thing the other day and a guy from sct posted and told him if he sent it into them at sct they could convert it to work on 6.4 i dont think it can just be updated i am not 100 percent sure tho

FW 6.4.063 and tune 204 if you have newest flash.

Hello Sir
You would need to contact our Tech Department and they would set up a RA for that device to get converted from a 9600 to a 9625OR Livewire. There is a fee and they can let you know on the cost. Thanks
