Spartan vs hemi

ive got a 6.4 crew cab and im about to get the spartan package and a straight pipe and cold air intake. wondering what tune ill need to beat a 2009 ram hemi.

you will do more than that

his does a 0-60 in about 6 or 7 seconds stock so your saying i will beat him?
would it be better to start from a 30 or 45 mph roll or from a stop??

Dead stop..... Boosted launch... He wont know what hit him

is it bad fot the truck to do a boosted launch?
what should i get my rpm to untill i let go of the brake??

When you're done, be sure you ask him how much his truck weighs....then tell him you're rolling about 4 1/2 tons!

No its not bad to do a boosted launch. It will just cause alot of heat buildup quick so you don't want to do it for too long. I would take it up to about 10 psi. Boosed launch is about building up boost and your torque converter stall speed will determine the RPM

do this on a straight road.. and use 4 wheel drive.. other wise you'll spin the tires for the first 75-100 feet.. my IDP race tune spins the tires way to easy at 3/4 throttle from a stop w/o a boosted launch.. let alone full throttle.. ! but you shouldn't have any trouble beating him w/ a 250..
