Anybody know
|

it is a fact. the 250 and up tunes do not cycle the egr during normal operation. It basically works like an EGR block off.

Mike will make a tune that will cycle the EGR at idle.

Do h&s tunes cycle the egr at all?

If Im not mistaken, none of the tuners cycle the EGR above the 210 tune. If you want it to cycle you can ask and Im sure they will provide you a tune where the egr does cycle, but I dont see why you would want it to cycle in the first place.

In other words, is it necessary to do an egr delete?

The idea is to keep it from sticking, so if you need it in the future it there.

That makes sense. I guess I have never thought about it since I daily drive the 250 but 1-2 times a month I detune down to the 210 to tow in the mountains.

Mike has posted before, if you want to run your egr cycle run a tune under 210 for a couple hundred miles.
