time for a new exhaust.

Ok, ive got a h&s tuner with just a dpf delete pipe and i think its time to get a full exhaust. I would like a 5" with no muffler with the bungs. Would it be worth going with a turbo back exhaust or just down pipe back? How big of a pain is it to install a turbo back? And finally where is the best place to buy? Ive looked and cant find much in 5".Thank you.

2008-10 6.4L FLO~PRO 5" Downpipe Back Performance Exhaust System NO MUFFLER

I just bought this, it was the best deal i could find. From what i have read is you dont really need a down pipe. I hear it is a pain in the A**. I just decided to stay with stock.

My buddy has his own shop they did it for me. I dropped my truck off at 8 and had my truck back by 2 and they did my exhaust and intake and tuner all in that time period. So i imagine it wasnt to hard. But you wanna talk about the truck sounding bad *** after i got that 5inch on there, holy **** it sounds like a completely different truck.

Don't buy MBRP..complete chit..I have the 5" turbo back on for 4 years and the tip rusted so bad it about fell off so I had to cut it off..the hangers are rusted and broken and my downpipe is rusted..I would of never cut my stock 3.5" stainless exhaust off..

I replaced my downpipe, takes a couple hours to replace it, make sure you replace the gasket at the turbo/DP, I have 4" DPF?CAT delete pipe, and 5" Diamond Eye DPF back and run an Aero muffler just before the axle and end it all with a 5x6 tip... sounds great!!
I bought everything except the muffler from Aaron @ Rudy's and I purchased the Aero muffler from Nate @ Performance truck, both vendors here. All this will take about 5 hours, if you have a helper it will reduce your time.

How would the aluminized exhaust hold up against the salt on the roads during our great new york winters?
