DD a 300 tune

is the new h&s 300 tune safe for daily driving or not? I cant seem to get the answer im looking for? It seems like others 300 tunes are for built trannys and the like. DPF delete and 300 tune. What do you think

lots of people are using 300 and higher tunes for DD. as long as you aren't flogging it often, racing at the track on the weekends, etc. the tranny should be fine.

Just turn the power down when you dont need it. Thats what is great about H&S.

If you can keep your EGT's in check then I would say go for it. For long tranny life Im not sure I would be hammering on the pedel all the time with the trailer hooked up though.

can you download the other tranny strategies with tunes other than the 300. For example I have been reading on the H&S forum about this new option to customize your TC lockup speeds but it seems like everybody is doing that with the 300 tune I would like to do it with the mild or even wild not Hot Damn. Personally I dont need that much power but like the idea of the good shifting. This is what has been holding me up on my purchase is the bad shifting stories that I read.

yes. there are 2 tune levels, what comes in the tuner and the 300 hot damn. trans tunes work with both.
I have never had shifting problems, even before the latest tunes. it all comes down to personal preference. you can't go wrong with this product IMHO.

yep its pretty awesome with the new H&S updates. Right now you get to pick between 3 different lock up speeds with your tunes aswell as how you want it to lock up. Such as shifting 1-2-3-4 Lock up then 5 or 1-2-3-4-5 then lock. Its pretty awesome that its FREE and easy to customize the tunes to your likings!

The new trans tunes from H&S are simply crazy good! Your tranny will be fine if you dont stomp it every chance you get If you set your mini to no power that is going to be 40 hp with the Hot Damn loaded.
