Egr cycle On or Off?

Right now I'm running with the egr turned off as I was told that was best to do. I see where alot of people leave it turned on, so what truely is best for a stock truck? Not looking to delete just yet as it is still under warrenty.

My 2 cents,
We put Air filters to keep dirt out of the intake and prolong engine lift.

EGR allow soot and exahust into the intake system...... works ok for gas engines....... For Diesels? You decide

2008 F450 King Ranch 4X4
H&S Tunes
5" down pipe back exahust
4.30 L/S gears
AFE CAI
265/70R19.5 Michelins
Pure performance 4 link front suspension
Kelderman Air-Ride
FASS fuel filter
PTP EGR Delete
Train Horns under the front bumper
2013 Radio/Nav/sync upgrade

494Rwhp/975ftlbs......

I have a Kem tune that will cycle the EGR at idle.

I'm with you, I've done many egr deletes on 6.0s and lbz duramaxs which is enough to see how harmfull they really are
