New H&S Mini Maxx Issues

Well I got my MM in yesterday still waiting on the exhaust. I first checked the files on the MM to see if I needed to update. I see T-6.4.21 so I download 6.4 L 2008-2010 T-6.4.22...extract..copy...paste/replace. Still shows version T-6.4.21. So I tried the hot tunes.. same thing only now I have more options and parameters to monitor. I load up a tune and go for a drive. I like the power but the CEL comes on. (BTW I am stock with DPF present for now, and only a K/N drop in filter) No matter what I do I cant get the CEL to go off with the tune loaded, even if I try clearing the DTC. I would like to run this with the DPF setting on now till I get my exhaust in the mail. Suggestions? Thanks

Just returned it to stock and CEL went away. I was only using mild/wild setting as I know the stock intake prob wont go well with the hot tune.

Are you running the DPF off tunes while the DPF is still on?

In order for the tuning version to change, you will need to load the tuning onto the truck. You probably updated firmware, but did not load the tuning to the truck.

Any time you get DTC lights, write down what the code is and let us know. We can diagnose a lot easier if we have a DTC to start with.

No I installed the load with DPF present option.

The CEL was on but it kept saying no DTC's present.

Did you clear the DTC?

And it would come right back?

Does the T.V. still say 6.4.21?

Yes the TV still says 6.4.21 even tried deleting all the files on the sd card and downloading them from your site. CEL goes away when returned to stock firmware.

You downloaded the full SD? If you deleted all the files on your card, you will need to download the FULL SD card to be fully operational again.

Tuning version will show 6.4.22 when you install the tuning onto the truck and have that software on the card.

I have done exactly that but I am in the process of downloading the full sd card. Will load that up and let you know. thanks for the quick reply's !
