Unhappy 6.4l dpf delete with new flash

Heres the deal. I bought a dpf/doc delete from River City diesel with a SCT livewire tuner to clear the DTC codes. Little did I know it won't work with the new flash form Ford. Long story short I can clear the DTC codes and the CEL goes away and the truck doesn't seem to be in regen but the mileage is horrible. The power and RPM's seem to be stock and there is no white smoke rolling out the tail pipe like I here is common w/out the codes being cleared. Any ides what's going on?

Ouch!

I have a friend with an '08 KR about to do a DPF delete. He just received a recall notice from Ford to bring it in for the new flash. I'm wondering if he should not have it re-flashed now??

He's already out of warranty at over 100K...

I had the same issue recently, I'm running an '08 with dpf delete, was running the livewire until this last ford flash, made it so that the device prompts "vehicle not supported". sct is currently working on programming for the new flash

ended up having to pick up an edge evolution to get the thing running (was all that was available at the time)

something to keep in mind with the new flash is that ford has lowered the value of it's high boost pressure derate (p0234) to 38psi. with the edge on level 2, any long hill put her into a derate

I'm thinking of switching up to the spartan phalanx, but i can't seem to find alot of info on them, I know they come with 13 tunes and such, what is the device and mounting like

You can find a good deal of information on our site at the link above; and you can also click the link to Drew Technologies concerning more specifics on the DashDAQ unit that our Phalanx is based on.

As far as mounting, the tuner comes with a windshield mount. Several other options for mounting have been developed by other companies and customers alike, you can find several of those on the Spartan forums. Most users that don't use the windshield mount end up using a pillar mount, similar to the Edge mount.

All of our consoles are compatible with the latest flashes, and will not cause issues with overboost codes, ect.

Is there a benefit to updating to the new ford flash if you are using Spartan's tuning? Thanks

08 f250 fx4. Spartan 350 tcm. Elite studs and egr delete w/wastegate.
