mini maxx fuel mileage

i installed the mini maxx about a month ago, and ive put about 2000 miles on it since. i drove to texas and back to missouri and was only getting 16 mpg on the highway at the best when i was calculating it by hand (the lie-o-meter said 37. LOL). i was under the impression that i would be seeing closer to 20-something highway with the mini maxx. i have been running it on the mild setting. is there anything i can do to get a little better mileage out of it? i have been told that tow/haul mode helps with mileage a little. i also have a stage 2 intake and downpipe back straight pipe. no lift/tires or anything else. any help would be appreciated

It all depends on the truck, not all of them see alot of MPG increase after tuning.

Turn it up more. My experience with Spartan tunes is the higher hp tunes get better mileage.
