Dashdaq xl...not Phalanx

Did I get scammed?

I thought I was buying a spartan phalanx tuner off eBay, but when it arrived at my house, it was a dashdaq xl with Spartan tunes. The guy on eBay listed the item as a Spartan Phalanx tuner, not an xl. I called Spartan before I bought with the tuner serial number and they said everything checked out with the tuner, but they didn't tell me it wan an xl. Does it matter? Whats the price difference from the xl to the phalanx? He said he bought it straight from Spartan. Not sure if I should ask for a refund from the seller. What do you guys think?

No your good man! Mines the same. Maybe Phalanx is what they call the software... I love my DashDAQ. Check through all the display options! There are some good ones!! I found one screen that can monitor 26 diff. parameters simultaneously.

The DashDAQ XL is the monitor/tuner that we call the Phalanx. No worries.

Cool...thanks for the quick replies. I was worried because none of the DashDAQ's I saw in pictures said xl. Thanks.

I think the Xl has a larger display than the first version Dashdaq's that were released.

The older units were smaller than the newer ones.
