My truck on Spartan

Just wanted to say how impressed I am so far with Spartan tunes on my truck. I'm running a 250 DPF delete tune with an AFE air cleaner. Now this is my first tank of fuel, I made a trip to Central Oregon this past weekend running a little over 500 mi. I got 21.5 mpg. The best that I ever got running stock was 14.3 mpg. Power was impressive, I think I'm going to be happy. The big test will be when I hook up the fifth wheel.

Got the exact same truck but waiting for the warranty to expire to do the same mods. Is that with stock exhaust?

I'd like to see those numbers for mileage

Yes, stock down pipe and tail pipe. Spartan was actually recommended by my Ford dealer. They have done a few trucks with zero troubles. My Ford dealer is very MOD friendly.

Figure that fuel mileage by hand and you will cry. The reading on the dash is about 6 - 8 mpg off.

Not on my truck it's not. Mine is off maybe by .5 or so. I'm very surprised how accurate it has been.

Thats pretty awesome, you have the only Spartan tuned truck that actually reads correctly. You should feel lucky. I bet you are getting in the low 20's to in mpgs huh.

Thats pretty impressive! You are saying your tuned truck only gets 10MPG?

I just drove 660kms on 92L of winter diesel. That's 13.8L/100kms, and the truck showed 12.

THAT is 20 IMP MPG, which is what 17US? Stock it only got 14imp MPG. Either way I gained 5-6 MPG. Did I mention I still haven't loaded the 250 tune? I've been running on the 210

I just did 1400km (FSJ>Edmonton) with the 250 tune (back to reg 210, dont like the 250) The LOM reads 9 L/100km or 24mpg and reality was ~14 L/100km or ~16mpg...

I just got back from my first trip with the Spartan 250 tune. I managed 18.9 mpg hand calculated. I am running a S&B intake and delete pipe as well.
