how much TC slip is to much?
watching on spartan how much TC slip is to much in each gear when shifting? When my converter is locked up its jumps around from anywhere 0.00 to 5.00, im thinking that is still ok?

Sounds like its good. Mine jumps around like that in normal driving. At WOT mine will slip up around 30-40 when initially flooring it running KEM 210-275 and has done that since new. I see alot of guys saying if it gets over 10 or so the TC is going bad but I have a hard time believing that with how mine acts. My truck is a 3.55 gear so maybe that makes the difference in the slipping.

cool good to hear....when im driving normal when its shifting its usually showing from 400 - 800 anywhere in between there until it locks up. when full throttle pulls i seen as high as 1200 shifting. Do you see close to that?

even tho im on a 7.3 trans, locked up is 0-6 ish and 350-400 idle not locked.

Yep, thats about how mine runs when the TC is unlocked. Once it locks the highest I have ever seen is 90 and that was on the 310 and it only spiked up that high and then steadily dropped down to 30.
