Minimaxx Defuel set to 1400* on stock truck?

As the title states, I have issues during regen with EGTs reaching 1350* for a second or two at a time, my current defuel setting is at 1300* so during regen the truck will defuel a few times... Is 1400* a "safe" defuel setting on a stock truck with DPF still present? I'd like to change so It doesn't defuel so much during regens... but I also want to be safe... for now...

Thanks for any help...

If your in regen your truck controls egts to burn out the DPF reaching 1350-1400 is normal for short periods.

I would think you dont want it defueling when it is in regen. It needs to get the egt way up to clean the dpf and if you have it defueling it wont get the job done as quickly or if at all.
