Switching from SCT to spartan

I currently have a 2008 F-350 with a banks intake, Banks six gun, and an SCT livewire rolling on 35X12.5's The truck runs good but i know it is capable of both better power and mpg. Right now im seeing 11mpg city and 14 mpg highway. i Know i sould get better than this. Contemplating a jump to a spartan and AFE intake. Any suggestions, comments, advice?

You could always get a custom tune from one of our SCT dealers and they can get you more power and maybe better fuel economy.

If you have not already. Try some tunes from Eric at innovative or Mike at KEM. Mainly since you already have a Sct tuned.

I got a custom tune from RiverCityDiesel last year and I am pretty happy with it. The fuel mileage got somewhat better (DPF deleted) and the power is for sure there. But the choice is up to you!

I would get in contact with Innovative Diesel for some custom tunes before you switch programmers.

Man I think I would try erics tunes first, he has no shortage when it cones to power! I know I get alot better Milage with his tunes also...

I keep forgetting about them. They make a good tune. The 450 hot tune. Nicknamed the 485 was my best to date for MPG. I had some communication issues with them though...

Call Innovative. They can tune really well.
Also if you dont run the race tunes, you can get by with a drop in AFE, it has worked great for me.

Keep the SCT and call River City Diesel and get a customer 450 Tune, YOU WILL NOT get good MPG w/ a canned tune and you don't need that 6 gun.
