6 Speed Trans
I was just curious if I wanted is it possible to replace my 5 speed Torqshift with the new 6 Speed in the 2011s? Or is it going to be way to much money to mate it to the 6.4.

Since there has been such an abundant response to this question we might have to ask some one like The Nutty Professor or Suncoast Trans (SL) if this is possible....

This was brought up on another forum. From what I gathered, it would be a waste. A lot of programming changes would be needed because the TCM's are different apparently. You would have so much money invested in doing a swap that you might as well just build the 5R that you have and been done with it.

What "other forum was this talked about? I realize the 6R is a different monster but with all you programming heads out there I figure that there is a way to do this.
I have been waiting to get my 5R reprogramed since Christmas, now I am looking at other options even a ZF6 speed. Cheers
