Also they are suppose to working on being able to monitor more pid's in the near future too .

I just realized that the Black Maxx and Mini Maxx have different versions for the same truck; I have a Black Maxx. I assumed that they would be the same.

The units have completely different software, and therefore get updated differently. It is possible they could at times have the same update version #, but they are completely independent files and can't be used universally. No matter what the version # is, all the "Latest Software" on our downloads page will always contain the newest version.
