Converter Lockup ??
Hey guys,
When should my converter lock at WOT?. I have a job 2 08 with innovative tunes and am having a problem with the lockup on the extreme tunes. On the street tune, per my insight CTS, it will lock in 2nd and stay locked thru all 5 gears at WOT, which I like but on the bigger tunes it locks on the 3-4 shift, unlocks and defuels like crazy and tries to lock again jerking like crazy and slamming into gear. As far as I can tell the converter holds fine once it locks, no shuddering or anything.....tuning problem or tranny problem? Truck has done this since I tuned it @ first!
