Limp Mode?
I was running in the snow and started playing a little bit by spinning a few 180's to facilitate an easier U turn and then after that my trans was having a real hard time shifting and finding the right gear. I was in a neighborhood turning left and it kind of shifted hard and felt like it missed a gear and it threw a wrench code on my display which signifies limp mode..... I pulled over cleared the code with my Dashdaq and then restarted the truck. My trans began shifting again so for safety I pulled over and changed tunes for the 275V3 to the 210 tune which I've never had a problem with. So my question is once its slipped and went into limp mode is my tranny on the verge of death? I have 58,000 miles on an 08 job 1 truck and I need to get it in if the trans is going to go........

really no one has any advice? Does the slipping mean my clutch packs are bad? has anyone had this happen?

Had it happen to me quite a few times. did you get the codes? its probably the usual code for a sticking solenoid, its not anything serious to worry about in the near term...it can show that your tranny is starting to wear but like I said its happened to me a number of times and that was thousands of miles ago and my stock tranny is still goin hard! you may wanna consider a spartan tcm since your truck is a job 1, works awesome on my truck and helps your tranny last longer.
