help trying to update to hot damn

hello guys i'm trying to update my mini max with the hot damn tunes but after following h&s instructions i keep getting a message when i go to copy the new files to my sd card. i downloaded the hot damn file, copy these files to my mini sd card and it ask if i want to replace the current files, like h&s site says, and i say yes replace. it then tells me that these files are write protected. what to do? i checked my card and tried it with it in the lock possition and in the unlock possition. any ideas? thanks.

What mini sd adapter are you using to plug into your pc or laptop?

I was using one of those sd cards that the mini sd slides into. I finaly got it to work though. I ended up just taking the usb cord hooked to the mini max and trying to copy and paste the files like that. For some reason it still didn't work but when I tried it again in the sd card that the mini sd slides into it work. duno?

Did u try the usb with the sd mini adapter(provided with the mini maxx)?

I did the same thing, I uploaded the new tunes from H&S and when I went to transfer then over I got an error code, but after I "X"ed out of that little notice the tunes uploaded to the SD card and are now working with the truck.

I love my KEM 345 but that H&S 275 tune sure is fun!

yea I tried this also. I tried it on my laptop and my desktop, neighter would even recognize the thing.

I think those little sd adaptors may have a glitch that makes them difficult for a windows OS to Find? I wonder if they need special drivers loaded before they can initialize.
I had that same problem as you guys for awhile and then suddenly the adapter popped open like it should, I thought it was just my computer

When you load the " hot damn" file, on the mini maxx display does it say "hot damn" or does it still say "hot", I though I loaded the hot damn but my mini maxx still says hot?

Same here mine says Hot.....
