One piece drive shaft?

Has anyone put a one piece drive shaft on a crew cab long bed? What are the benefits / downsides? I have a slight vibration at low speeds. It has recently showed up. I looked underneath and the carrier bearing shim is still tight and in place. Not sure what it could be, getting it into the shop on monday. Looking for some advice. Thanks

Bump. Anyone? Trying to decide if this a viable option or just stick with the two piece and have it rebalanced.

I've never done it but I've seen it on buses and a guy on the nation who added 2 feet some odd inches to his f450 cclb did it so im sure its plausible.
