Please need quick answer!!

I can buy a used Edge Evolution tuner locally for $200. Is this a good deal and do I need to watch out or look for anything? I plan to delete with mini maxx later but thinking this will work for now. Please need opinions quick. TIA!!

I'd suggest save up and go with something proven.

Almost positive the edge does not tune the transmission which is something I'd be leery about. It also makes you beg the question why is the guy selling it so cheap?

Even if I ran it on level 1 or so and not beat on it, do you think the tranny would be ok? I'm looking to gain even 1 mpg and hold me off until I can spend $1800 on a full set up.

Btw I'm not being an *** just wondering and asking questions. I trust y'all opinion on these things.

Ok you guys are right, just seemed like a good deal and I was hoping for a gain of some sort. Getting sick of 9-10mpg city is all i guess. But I'm not trashing a 41K truck. Thanks fellas. That's why I love this site.

Watch the classified section here I saved a bundle of money using members here instead of paying new retail. Many are starting to trade in 6.4 trucks for 6.7 trucks.

I'd put that 200$ on your intake. I saw a .5-1 mpg gain with the s&b (Would not recommend just because of pain in the but on cleaning compared with afe)
