edge vs mini maxx??

i am purchasing a 2008 f250 and i am planning on doing a stage 2 intake and a dpf/cat delete exhaust. im trying to decide which tuner to go with now. i have already ruled out spartan for a number of reasons (price, not easily re-saleable, not shift-on-the-fly, need to turn on/off every time, etc..) so now have narrowed my choices down to the edge and the mini maxx. any opinions on either one?
one thing that i see as a bad point of the edge is that it is "sooty" and cogs up the dpf, but if i dont have a dpf, that doesnt matter.... right?....

-EGR Delete-Oil cooler-6.4 Banjo Bolts-WW2-turbo feed and drain lines-upgraded alternator-upgraded FICM

It all depends on what YOU want(Towing...Better MPG...Racing..etc). If your looking for higher HP/TQ and what not then Id go with H&S. It does everything you need and want. I run the mini maxx and its just a whole new truck. No complaints here.

what kind of exhaust are you running?is it a full kit or just delete?

H&S is definitely the way to go for the 6.4L for the reasons quoted above. The trans tuning is a big deal, not to mention the best tunes are the higher HP ones.

I run the full 5inch straight piped flo pro exhaust.

One other problem with going to the Edge would be if down the road you were going to do any form of EGR delete, from plates, to full cooler delete or even a wastegated cooler dlete setup. With the H+S mods like this are supported, with the Edge you would be stuck purchasing another tuning device. I always try to think a few steps down the road, and for the money that Mini max is s great buy. We've been doing a great deal more H+S Minis with cooler delete kits, setup works great.
