best air intake for a 2008 350 6.4

Alright guys, im starting to put some money under the hood on my rig. I am starting with an intake and i want your opinion on the best intake for this truck, i will be getting an exhaust and tuner within 6 months to a year (when my warranty is up). I live in south texas summer time is 100 degrees 90% humidity, idk if that makes a diffrence. So i am open for opinions...letta rip.

Subscribing...I'm going to piggyback this one because I'm looking for the same info. I've got a first gen AFE that is causing problems with my DPF...I've owned the truck since November and it hasn't regened once! Hope you don't mind.

i just ordered an AFE stage II pro-dry S i will put it in friday and ill let you know how the install went and how it works out. i don't expect any power gains but am hoping for a little bump in mileage. I also would like to hear my twins in action more than i can hear them now with the stock air box

When I bought my truck back in 08 the first thing i bought was a AFE intake, and after several weeks I had to go back to the stock box because the truck wasn't running right... the dealership said it was over cooling my egt's and that it would void my warranty, but anyways I am wanting also an intake and ive been looking at the S&B intakes!

I am interested in this as well. I think I have my mind made up on a AFE stage II with the pro gaurd 7. I dont have any other mods either, so i have concern for the CEL being on(heard this was an issue with AFE) also I was still hoping to hear more on the AFE stage II SI intake(heard there where several fitment issues supposedly being resolved).
