DPF delete with SCT Livewire w/custom tunes from Liberator Performance
I'm considering a dpf delete as my trucks next mod. I've heard some good things from liberator performance and have also seen them at Carlisle PA during the truck show.
Is anyone running their dpf delete w/ SCT livewire with their custom tunes? Any feedback on this would be great! The truck is my daily driver and work truck. I'm a landscaper and the truck pulls a 7,000lb trailer 3-5 days a week during the spring summer and fall and then plows snow during the winter. I'm not towing anything extreme but some extra power would be nice. I'm going to be installing an AFE stage 2 intake on the truck prior to doing the dpf delete. Should I also be looking into an EGR delete or is that un-nessecary. I probably won't be running the truck on any crazy high tune, probably the lowest tune just for some fuel economy and power. Any help would be great!! |

I think he is saying that because they aren't well known.

I've never heard of anyone on here using their tunes, I've never heard of them personally(and I spend a good part of my day on here) and jeff hasn't heard of em. I wouldn't say they're bad being that I've never heard of them, but Innovative, KEM and River City are the more tried and true tuners for the SCT platform. If I were doing it again I'd do what dstrbd said. And I've got the SCT.
