Performance Chips

What chip do you have in your 6.4. And if the chip gave your truck any problems. Thanks!

Yes, it helps more than a whole lot. Let me tell you why your truck feels slow. Just before the transmission is ready to shift, the computer cuts engine power, the transmission shifts, then the power is increased again. This is great (even necessary) when towing because the engine and extra weight can tear the transmission to bits. You definitely would not want to tow with this Performance tune. The tuner adds about 80RWHP and about 120 lb-ft of torque, but the real difference is in the shifts. It is really unbelieveable. When I turn off Traction Control and let her rip, I break the 35's loose now. I love it. I plan on taking it easy until I can get an EGT gauge, but I can tell you that it was more than worth the $399 just for the change in the transmission alone. I have not had it on the truck long and will let you know if it improves fuel mileage. I hope this helps.
