6 or 7 inch tips?

I saw in the newest Diesel World mag that AFE offers a 7 inch tip but for 4 inch exhaust system. Does anyone offer a 7 inch tip for a 5 inch exhaust system? And what will I get out of a 7 inch tip? Just a deeper exhaust note cause that is what I'm looking for.

Um you may. It would have to be a long tip like a stack or something for it to be noticeable.

MBRP and RBP both offer a 7" for a 5" exhaust. and the bigger tip will give you a different tone. you will definitely notice a difference.

12 inch is a little too big of a tip. I figure I will notice a tone difference WOT and all but what about idling?

Damnit. I really like the RBP ones but the one that fits 5 inch exhaust only goes to a 6 inch tip. I don't see the point of spending 200 dollars for 1 inch bigger. I wish they made a 7 inch one and I would get it it.

I have a 4>6" rbp tip and I can hear a difference. Inside the car it has a deeper tone at idle and at wot, but just by a little which is enough to satisfy me.
