If you want the install to be easy, go with AFE. S&B is a little more challenging as is changing the filter. They are the best bang for the buck on the market though.
Although the S&B is cheaper I would vote for the aFE stage II with ProGuard 7 filter. The aFE filter media is better than S&B's in my opinion. I really like the Stage IIsi that I have on my truck but the install can be considered pretty challenging by some. Let's just say that it was a good thing that it was a Sunday and aFE tech was closed or they would have learned a few new cuff words.:hehe:
probably depends on what the problem is, if your radiator is leaking im sure they will overlook the air filter, but if your turbos grenaded than you might want to throw the stock intake back in
Then wait for the warranty to expire......theres always murphys law....just a soon as you get everything on and get hooked on the way the truck performs some little something will come up with it and you'll have to put it all back to stock.
