It sounds like what happened to me a couple of times. After driving it like a B*(^h for a while, then trying a WOT takeoff, it would buck and kick. It felt like it was running out off fuel. One time I stayed in it to see if it would work itself out, but it didnt, and gave me the wrench on my display and wouldnt shift. I shutdown and restarted and the problem was gone. Now when I drive a tad more aggressive, it would run fine. That was running the Hot Damn tune and the 45 TC lock.

Please make a sig. Jato so we know what you have done?
Inadequate fuel pressure causing bog down is more prominant with the aggressive tunes. Larger boost ramps is totally dependant on the amount of pressurized fuel available and the amount of air available from the intake. It is possible that your intake isnt flowing enough air and the stock lift pump isnt cutting it either, Maybe even Both. Last edited by Vettester; 02-05-2011 at 06:49 AM. |

Wow, sound like what happen to my stock 08, It bogged down and did'nt won't to move ,
so I took it in to ford and had them look at it and boy I'm glad i had "warranty" because they said it was a high pressure fuel leak and the front end and cab had to be removed to repair.. the cost of over 2500.00 Glad I had "warranty" I hope this don't scare you.... |

It's 4th gear. It just happened to me this past week, Drove the $hit out of it on the way home, After turning the key off and back out. has not gave me any problem sense. I just thought that the truck needed more time to learn the tranny tune. didnt bouther me that much cause it didnt do it but twice.
