DPF delete/banks exhaust

Im looking at replacing my exhaust with a dpf delete and a banks exhaust but was worried about the exhaust not haveing a muffler and if that would make it really load and smoke a lot ?

6.4 with XRT PRO and straight pipe..

I just installed a down pipe to muffler straight pipe from H & S.. with the XRT pro tuner... My fuel milage went from 12 to 17MPG on average....

On the 6.4 you cant just install a DPF delete pipe without a tuner to delete the cycle from the computer. It will constantly run the Regen mode... Tried it!!

I would highly recomend the XRT Pro on the Mild setting with the straight pipe..

Had the Banks Six Gun.... XRT Pro.... WAY BETTER

Get rid of the cat and Particulate pipe....

No smoke sounds good... not loud....

It wont be too loud without a muffler, the 6.4 remains rather quiet even when straight piped. Everyone has a different opinion of what "too loud" is, but its really not bad at all inside the cab, very close to stock. Outside it will sound much more aggressive.

The Banks unit will not allow for DPF removal. You will need a tuner that is made for removing the DPF like H&S, Spartan, SCT etc.
