6.4l powerstroke exhaust brake

Hey everyone I have a job3 2008 F350 crew cab long bed 6.4l powerstroke with the zf6 manual transmission. my current mods are 2.5" ready lift, firestone ride rite, b&w gooseneck, 4" afe downpipe back exhaust, river city diesel 450 tune, and AFE stage 2 intake. I've been wanting an exhaust brake and was recently told by banks that their speedbrake won't work for my truck since it isn't an automatic so i got an idea. i was thinking about using the BD 6.0l powerstroke exhaust brake on my truck since there is no dpf or cat present. What do you all think? all opinions are welcomed! thanks!

I wasn't aware that anyone makes one for a 6.4L. I wish someone would make one. I would buy one.

I heard the same thing from Banks. Apparently when they were testing, they could never acquire a manual trans truck to use to properly set it up. So they had to shelve it. If they can ever get a hold of a truck locally, that may change but until then, automatic only.

My truck is an auto. I wasn't aware there was a exhaust brake for either an auto or manual.

the big catch is that you have to use it with their 6 gun tuner though.

Well it looks like I won't be getting that one.

Banks is working on a stand alone version that does NOT require the use of the Six-Gun or the the iQ display. I'll see if I can get an update on the status of this unit if you like.

Banks has a speed brake that will work standalone. no need for the IQ or 6gun. The problem is you cant have your dashdaq and the speedbrake operating at the same time.
