Question Tune, intake and exhaust?

I've had my '09 CCSB for about a year and have had absolutely no issues with the truck as my daily driver and weekend tow vehicle.

I've had a couple of 7.3's in the past, one slighty modded so I'm a little disappointed in the stock 6.4.

I've done a fair amount of reading on the forums and have spoke with a few vendors and I'm ready to pull the trigger on the following:
  • Black Maxx
  • AFE Stage II PDS
  • Flo-Pro 5" SS w/ muffler
There aren't a lot of modded trucks in my area and I'm hoping this is a pretty good set up from a performance, improved reliablity perspective and should sound pretty good too. Mileage improvement would be nice as well.

Any opinions or other options I should consider before yanking out the CC?

TIA.

That will make an excellent package that you will be very happy with. H&S is as good as it gets as is the AFE. Exhaust size is a personal preference, but I have never heard of anyone complain about issues or excessive noise from their 5". Let me know if youd like a quote on that setup.

im 99% sure you need studs to run the 345. if you do weekend towing look into the 275 tow tune or the 310 tune neither one required studs and you wont destroy your trans. if your not beating on it

This is not so so. The 345 is actually beyond safe if driven normally and not raced daily. It makes less boost and ebp during normal driving than any other tune I have run. The egts are very cool as well and you can tow with it. the shifting is great as well. The 275 is a good tune but not as strong as the 345. The 310 is pretty much a race tune that is super fast but is not very comfortable daily driving. I have the 345 on 3 trucks and I won't run anything else. It's great.

I have the same setup minus the muffler no complaints what so ever! I have been running the hot damn tune as my DD which is very decent but going to try out the KEM 345 soon and the exhaust is not loud without the muffler at all!

Thanks for the feedback...

I ended up pulling the trigger on the above list and should have it all installed soon.
