AIR FILTER

installed a minimax and 4in back. getting on the gas my air-filter light comes on and i have to reset it under the hood. what does this mean? also will it hurt anything?

It means that you need an aftermarket intake. You're pulling in to much air now for the stock filter to flow without a high differental pressure at wide open throttle.

No, it will just throw the tend airfilter code when you WOT.

no , every thing is fine.
Because the stock filter couldnt flow the amount of air needed for your new power lvl, it was faked out into thinking your filter was dirty. Your engine is actually, not compromised in any way.
