KEM 345 tune loaded and running!
So after a couple of months doing research on different tuners, reading about good and the bad I decided to go with the H&S mini maxx with KEM 345 tune..
When I first got the mini maxx I thought at first it came with a toy because of how small it was, but after running it in the truck for the past week in night and day I will say how extremely impressed I am with the clarity of the screen and the functions. I first ran the H&S Hot file.. I noticed firmer shifts and great throttle response.. I did however load the tire size and was still about 5 mph off and was told all I had to do was call and they would take care of it but hell you don't have to pay for an extra tire size tune so I wasn't complaining to much. Mike at KEM deserves 5 stars for his customer service... I had a few issues loading his tune... these were my issues not the tuner.. lol He walked me through the entire process and asked me to call him back after I ran the tune to see if I liked it... The 345 tune is amazing... the truck runs like a sports car not.. absolutely no hesitation off the line like stock and the truck just wants to go. Shifts are great and the truck just runs amazing and the tire size and speedo was spot on! Mike also wanted to make sure I was happy with the way the tune worked and was willing to adjust it to my liking if not (Shifting and lockout) Now I had to see what this tune had so at 30mph I floored it and spun my 37" tires and I giggled like a school girl... lol Next once the new suspension goes on so will trac bars. Huge props to KEM! |

I've been thinking about buying the 345. I have spartan tunes up to 250 and I want to try out something different.

I was running the H&S hot file right before I switched and when I talked to Mike he said I would definitely tell the difference.... You could say that! lol

so it is stronger than the hot tune? I have been considering this tune but i like the shift on the fly mode since i tow often. I dont like to tow on a 345 tune

It tows perfectly, temps never get high on mine. Lots of power too.

How much weight can you tow with a 345 tune?

Were you running the hot or hot damn tune? Just wondering what the power felt like compared to the hot damn which i currently run?

I was running the Hot file... to compare the 2 the shifting is a bit softer and at 3/4 throttle I was seeing 41psi |

I tow a 10k 5th wheel with the 345, its my favorite to tow with you just have to pull with sense and watch your gauges.
