Dash daq suction cup SUCKS!!

Hey guys, my spartan dash daqs suction cup I think gave up the ghost. I like to mount mine over the tach with it, but I fiddled for hours trying to get it to stick after it fell off while driving yesterday. The suction cup that comes with it is pretty worthless anyways, and I could of swore I saw a thread ages ago on this, (of course I cant find it).....but does anybody know of another suction cup assy that will work? Thanks!!

Have you tried licking it (sounds gross) and then seeing if it will stick? If my windshield is cold, I have a really hard time getting it to stick. If I lick it, it sticks and stays every time.

Yup tried everything other than superglue lol....it has always been cantankerous but the ole lick n stick used to do the trick for me too......i just think the plastic on the suction cup has had too much sun and has given up, even in my warm garage it still wont stay for more than a few min, tired the windshield and no luck there either....I looked around online and I think im gonna swing by the electronics store....the 4 hole mounting system is used on some satellite radios, so I may get lucky, if I do find a good one ill b sure to post details.....cause I know others hate that cheap a$$ suction cup.
