H&S mini ?

Hey guys

Anybody install there tuner so it powers on and off with the ignition? Maybe this is not the thing to do or I installed mine incorrect. On my 2009 6.4 I hooked the power wire up to the purple wire down by the obd.

Are you wondering if you did it right? I think most people do it that way which is described in the instructions.

sorry, after I hooked mine up to the purple wire I have to turn the unit on and off with the obd plug switch. I was wondering if you could hook it up so it turns on/off with the ignition. Thanks

I have the same problem. I wired it up to 1 of my upfitter switches and it will not power off with the key. E-mailed tech and they said to file a warranty claim as it is probably a bad switch.

I wired mine up as per the instruction that came with the mini maxx and it comes on with the ignition .

Can you take a picture of how you currently have it wired?

it tells you to look for a solid wire color, i couldnt see a solid one under the dash.... ended up using one with a stripe on it

one more thing to add. just grab a test light and start probing wires then check to see if its the right one by turning on your ignition switch.

I seen that wire too. How does yours function, tuner power with key or by switch because it has constant power?

Does your power on w/ignition or does it have constant power and you use the switch on the obd plug?
