H&S mini ?

Hey guys

Anybody install there tuner so it powers on and off with the ignition? Maybe this is not the thing to do or I installed mine incorrect. On my 2009 6.4 I hooked the power wire up to the purple wire down by the obd.

Also thanks for all the information that is shared on this site.

Are you wondering if you did it right? I think most people do it that way which is described in the instructions.

sorry, after I hooked mine up to the purple wire I have to turn the unit on and off with the obd plug switch. I was wondering if you could hook it up so it turns on/off with the ignition. Thanks

I have the same problem. I wired it up to 1 of my upfitter switches and it will not power off with the key. E-mailed tech and they said to file a warranty claim as it is probably a bad switch.

Can you take a picture of how you currently have it wired?

it tells you to look for a solid wire color, i couldnt see a solid one under the dash.... ended up using one with a stripe on it

one more thing to add. just grab a test light and start probing wires then check to see if its the right one by turning on your ignition switch.

"Can you take a picture of how you currently have it wired?"
Sure can later when I take a look at it again.

"it tells you to look for a solid wire color, i couldnt see a solid one under the dash.... ended up using one with a stripe on it"
I seen that wire too. How does yours function, tuner power with key or by switch because it has constant power?

"it tells you to look for a solid wire color, i couldnt see a solid one under the dash.... ended up using one with a stripe on it"
Does your power on w/ignition or does it have constant power and you use the switch on the obd plug?

Thanks
