KEM 210 Tune...Very happy!

I purchased a KEM 210 tune for my Livewire yesterday and I love it. I wish I would have purchased it long ago. My truck feels like a new beast. It just seems to run better. I always ran my SCT extreme tune before, I will never touch it again. Also, Mike is great to work with. I am new to the Diesel game and he answered any question I had.

I have been runnig the canned tow tune for 10k miles. Is there alot of difference between the tow tune and the extreme tune in your opinion? I've been a little gun shy to try it. I do alot of around town driving and some freeway. I don't tow too much. Let me know what you think. Thank you

There is a difference. The extreme gets better mileage and has more power. I tried the tow tune for a while and hated it so I switched back to the extreme. I often tow 10,000-11,000lbs camping and left it in extreme. Temperatures were never an issue even in the mountains. It is actually a mild tune HP wise compared to the custom tunes out there. I would not be gun shy to run the extreme tune. The KEM tune is even better.

You won't regret the 210 tune, shifts are very nice and power is good.

What do you mean when you say powerful, firm but smooth is what I would like. The main thing keeping me from the bigger tunes is possible damage to the tranny.

It has good power, nothing like the 345 tune, but decent power, shifts are near perfect.

I have been wondering about the 345, some guys say its great, but again the concern for a the tranny. Not only is my truck my daily driver, but my office as well. So I depend on it a great deal.

I,ve been running Spartans 310 and KEMs 345 since they came out and have 0 tranny problems, but I don't abuse my truck.
