Both fass and airdog are good products but you should go with the airdog. The airdog is quiter than the fass and the filters are a tad cheaper.

Where is a good place to by air dog? And is it hard to hook up or to put on your truck? Never really looked it to that. Sorry for the hijack OP. But I figured you would like to know the answers to these questions too.

I just put on an air dog 165. Got it from rudys. Don't go by price alone because airdog customer service sucks and if you have questions they can answer them instantly. Airdog makes a great product but I can't leave a truck down for a week waiting on answers. And if you have a regular cab it won't fit like they say. There install instructions are just generic. Sorry that's was just my experience last week.

When i bought one for my 6.7 cummins i got it from 8 lug truck gear. It wasnt too hard to install on the dodge. Hardest part was dropping the tank. I have no idea how hard it is to install on a ford

There is an article in an issue of Diesel Power Magazine that explains how to install the Air Dog. I can't remember which issue, but it was sometime in 2010.

It's not a difficult job, just a little time consuming. We pulled the bed on my truck and it made it pretty easy. I know of a few people that didn't drop the tank or pull the bed for their install. You just have to follow the directions closely.

By the way, I recommend the Air Dog II DF-165.
