Help with Mini Maxx

I just installed the mini maxx in my truck. Went through the process where it loads the tune on to the truck, then at the end it asks to have the engine turned on. When I turn it on, the mini maxx just keeps rebooting. It will get to the part where it tries to "initializing communication" then it just reboots. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Never seen this before. Do you have it powered through the Purple wire under the dash? OR just from the OBD Port itself? I have seen some issues with the switch on the front of the OBD Block. It could be an issue there. Unplug the unit and plug it in a few times, does it continue to reboot?

You can also try turning the truck off, and power the mini just through OBD, using the switch. See if it reboots when it is not communicating with the truck. (you may end up freezing the screen up @ initializing communication, just unplug it to reset it.)

Thanks for the quick response. I do have it powered from the purple wire. Good news is that I updated the firmware on the mini maxx and reloaded the tune... and like magic, its working! I just took it out for a test drive (dpf present tune only) and I'm still smiling! Cant wait for fedex to get here with my delete pipe so I can try those tunes!
